help Posted December 20, 2012 Share Posted December 20, 2012 Can anyone help me! I'm a veteran player and currently on day 201! I am getting hounds around every 7 days? But there is one problem them come with 3 fire hounds and 15 normal. The fire hounds have burned almost all my grass and there is little left in the world, and they keep killing my pigs, and they will not respawn in the new update! Now I have little grass and can hardly make football helmets. My goal was to make it to day 1000. But now it seems impossible with so many hounds and so less resources. After playing it so long, most people will not return to the game, if they die! mobius187 Posted December 21, 2012 Share Posted December 21, 2012 To deal with hounds I suggest traps, using the "edges/turns" in stone bridges to confuse hound pathfinding, and using the glitch that sometimes causes food to "fall" off the island (i.e. kill a Gobbler by the edge of the island to try and trigger this glitch). Meat that falls of the island will still attract hounds, so they'll ignore you and go for the meat. Not sure about flame hounds... I recall they came for me.Lastly, never fight flame hounds near your grass supply... or flammables. But you know that now.
