I usually burn feathers as I have an insane ammount of them, like two chests full of crimson feathers. What else should I burn? You have to chop it down first. You know, know that I think about it, if you don't need the wood you could probably burn the logs and the stumps to get the most ashes. blaaaat Posted January 20, 2015 Share Posted January 20, 2015 It really depends what you have plenty of that can turn into ash. I always build my base near beefalos, so poop's one I use a lot. That's 20 ashes in one go. In a RoG game, I also tend to get a lot of twigs from tumbleweed, so then I use that resource to, which is good for 40 ashes in one go. I never use grass because I have better use for that as rope and bedroll/fuel. I also find tree stumps not very interesting because you don't get multiple ashes in one heap and ash on the ground only lies there temproarily.
