LevelXAbstract Posted January 16, 2015 Share Posted January 16, 2015 Hey, This is my first real post on the forum, I browse frequently but unfortunately I don't really contribute Anyway I was wondering if someone with experience could help me with my character mod. I'm using the extended sample character template btw. What's wrong is that I have my hair art on the headbase layer (I believe if you have the hair layer separate the hair is placed behind the headbase which doesn't suit the character design(the hair starts on the forehead)). I used this image again as the headbase_hat layer. Unfortunately this doesnt work as the hair/head protrudes from the hat. I remove the top half of the head on the headbase_hat layer so that the hair wouldnt protrude. It worked! But not for the back texture. It only seems to use the headbase_hat-2 texture when I'm moving with a hat on. So when I'm still, the hair protrudes again. I've attached screenshots. Any help would be great, thanks Abstract Also how do I spoiler on this forum? The article was quite informative I've fiddled with the textures a bit and although my problem hasn't been fixed, I've changed the textures so that it's no longer an issue. I see the item in game, the toon picks it up, but it's invisible. I am assuming because all I did was rename, and swap some files, (getting errors of an orphaned resource) and the game doesnt see it.
