What conditions are needed for the animation pipeline to not work?

So, I was trying to make my animations actually visible ifor my mod, and after trying to regenerate the .zip files in the /anim folder in the mod directory after deleting them, the art asset/compiler thingy didn't recreate one /anim zip that was named "myitem_swap", so I can't run my mod now because it keeps calling for an asset that doesn't exist.

 

The game log is useless in this regard, but I don't think the compiler is even looking in the directory it needs to in order to find the scml file...

 

Any ideas? I desperately need soem help with this, and all the hat guides aren't helping.(cause the animation not being converted is the swap anim for a hat.)
