Beards for Webber and Wilson should insulate from heat

I got RoG recently and found out that the beards for Wilson and Webber do not insulate heat from the summer. I think they should because in real life my uncle says that his beard keeps his face cool. To verify this I also checked these forums http://jefffsbeardboard.yuku.com/topic/9989#.VKCOcF4AAA and https://www.physicsforums.com/threads/beard-keeps-you-cool.83268/ . Most people agree that the beards keep you cool. Anyway those are just my two cents, if devs want to change something or keep it as it is, I'm cool with it.

Wilson and Webber's beards do not insulate in Summer, because Summer is meant to be the Anti-Winter of Don't Starve. In winter there's Deerclops and beard insulation. In Summer, there's Dragonfly and no beard insulation.

Your research is basically right, but at the same time uncertain: beards don't cool, they shade. There's a difference between those words, as shadows prevent sunlight from heating you up, whereas cold counteracts the heat. This difference may not seem important at first, but heat insulation would drastically impact winter.

 

I don't have RoG, but I think 'shade from sun' and temperature are calculated independently. All in all, a good suggestion.
