Issue Title: Followers get lost

Issue Description: If a Treeguard or Chester is following you and you run faster than them, you can get to a certain distance where, if you stop and wait for them, they won't ever reach you. I don't know if this happens in Single-player, but I think I remember Treeguards chasing you for some pretty generous distances.

Steps to Reproduce: 1. Anger a Treeguard.

2. Run away from it until its far away (maybe five or ten screens away).

3. Stop running and wait for it to appear.

4. It won't appear unless you go back to find it.

Yep, this happens in singleplayer too.

It's because you've moved so fast that the game is unable to render anything that's far away from you now. This is actually intentional, as having the entire world functioning fully all at the same time produces processor lag and FPS drops. It's referred to as "awake" versus "asleep". The world that is too far away from you is "asleep", and functioning very very slowly. The world that is close to you is "awake", and functioning as normal.

The Treeguard will still chase you... you just need to get in the "awake" area for the game to recognize it again (assuming he hasn't aggroed on something else in the meantime). With Chester, you need to get really-really close in the "awake" area. Sometimes you need to get right on top of him, because he may have gotten stuck on something like a rock or a forest, and you need to redirect his following to a different direction.
