xxlegionxx
I've started playing Don't Starve again after taking a short hiatus. I added some mods to the game through Steam Workshop, but after installing a few it seemed to have an effect on the frame rate. I was wondering if this is just a problem with Steam Workshop as I don't use it for anything else.
Silentdarkness1
Steam workshop is unstable as hell. Post the mod to both.
Mobbstar
The way I understand this, you are using mods, not making them. When using mods, it depends on how big they are (how often they perform calculations, how many things they add, animations and images, etc).Steam workshop shouldn't affect the games framerate, but the mods update every time you open the mods menu, which can be annoying. I think simplex made an manual updater...
simplex
I think simplex made an manual updater... I did, and it's compatible with DST, even though it hasn't been updated (it's an extremely simple mod). I'll update the modinfo of some of my mods and port others once I finish the U&A port, but it's working.
