I mean...okay I know it is a standalone game but is that just for the beta or will it be part of Don't starve once it's out officially? And...What does that mean really? Does it have everything don't starve has but it's just easier to have a separate launch or...is it actually different? (other than the fact that you can play together I mean) There is that frontier pack coming out with new stuff. Since DST is separate does that mean that stuff won't be in regular don't starve? Sorry if the answers are obvious or stated elsewhere that I can't find. So, if you bought the pack or received a DST beta key for free or in an email, and used it that means you now own DST. ExoticCharm Posted December 16, 2014 Share Posted December 16, 2014 The multiplayer for Don't Starve couldn't be properly integrated into the existing code, so a new version was essentially built from the ground up. It has a lot of what was in Don't Starve when it was initially released, as well as a few additions (most are multiplayer related). I don't think anyone is sure just how much content will be eventually available. For instance, there are no caves or ruins in DST currently and therefore meteor storms were added so that things like rocks and flint would become renweable. DST will continue to see similar changes. I didn't mean the frontier pack...I meant that thing they are working on with the beefalo riding and stuff. Anyway I appreciate all the help. I did look I just am new to the forums and don't know my way around perfectly yet. Plus...well I felt stupid but I wasn't positive about it lol.
