dont starve together characters & wonders?

Hi great game but I have a few questions:

 

A) Are all the characters available at don't start together at the start? if no then how to unlock them? if i unlock them will it be per server basis? or globablly unlocked for all servers? how does all this character thing works for multiplayer?

 

B) If I don't own the base game and just the DST client will I have any restrictions? cause I mainly want to play just online but I do want to have all the options unlocked for me.

 

C) Is DST works on the same version as the base game? because I heard it doesnt have Reign of the giants so it means things that got balanced in ROG won't be in DST? so DST will be an easier mode? (birds dont die, no overheat, no insane rain and wetness etc...)

A) Most of the characters are available - we are missing Woodie, Wes, and Maxwell. We don't have RoG characters yet either (Wigrid, Webber), but a modder has been given permission to add them in and is working on it. Currently, characters do not need to be unlocked. I'm not sure if that will change in the future, when they game is fully released. If it does go back to "unlocking characters", you will unlock characters for yourself - the XP that causes unlocking is stored in your unique player profile, not the server.

 

B) No. Once you own DST, it's yours. You can buy the singleplayer game separately or not, and neither will impact the other.

 

C) The developers are working on introducing more of the base game content, including RoG, but it's not in there yet since we're still in Early Access/Beta.
