They said on the last Don't Starve Together dev stream that the font is hand-drawn, so I think they'd actually have to manually patch the font to allow diacritics (things like ã). But I agree that it's something that would be nice if they could do eventually. Riateche Posted November 27, 2014 Share Posted November 27, 2014 Russian letters also can't be typed, and this is going to be a problem. This is definitely a bug that should be fixed. I understand the issue with hand-drawn font, and I would be happy if any message containing unsupported characters was just displayed using a standard system font.
