ajaj895
I haven't played Don't Starve for like a few months, so yesterday I started the game up, and it said that I had a Steam CD key to activate something. I don't know what it is used for, i have tried all the things i know of. I never signed up the any betas either. Does anyone know what it is and how do i use it? Thanks! Thanks! It sounds like it's just showing you your CD key for your Don't Starve purchase. This is in case you want to play on the standalone version (aka not on Steam). Mobbstar
Steam showed me my product key not long ago, for no obvious reason what-so-ever. I scribbled it down, checked "don't show again" and said "okay".That's it. Nothing and nobody ever asked me for the key, so idk.
insanechef
Steam shows you a key for a game, in case you have to type it in (think like old games such as the sims where it asks for a key before installation) if the game doesnt ask for a key when you start up, you don't need it.
