lynlynlora Posted September 22, 2014 Share Posted September 22, 2014 So I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, so this may be in the wrong spot- I'm playing DS on Steam, doing Adventure mode, non-RoG. I made it past the first world, and traveled to the second, which turned out to be The Game is Afoot. But... it's not winter. The Game is Afoot always starts with 10 days of winter, doesn't it? Also, nothing came through the teleportato with me, which is irritating, cuz I just lost my walking cane and a stack of 20 jerky. and I've lost all the crafting knowledge I had. It's like I started over, but the save file still said world 2. It's also raining a ton, like A Cold Reception, which is the world I just left. Did I just glitch out bad? I'm not sure what happened here. **edit** Just realized I also didn't have the usual starting thing where you get the chest with a winter hat in it. I exited out and went back in and it still claims that it's The Game is Afoot, but this is definitely A Cold Reception. I am not pleased. I HATE this world. But Frog rain can happen in any of the Adventure Mode Worlds if my memory serves me correctly. Maybe the rain cancelled out the snow but that still doesn't explain your missing chest. Either way, I'd rather play Cold Reception than The Game is Afoot! Best of luck! I did just yesterday. The world was The Game is Afoot. (The real one, not my stupid buggy one. The teleportato got me out of there and took me to a new world, Two Worlds, which, as I am trying to find Wes, I did not want.) Same game but a new attempt at Adventure mode, it was around day 50 (I like to settle in on my first world) and I got frog rain, non RoG game. Luckily it was also werebeaver night, since I'm playing as Woodie, so I murdered them ALL. I hate frog rain.
