TV4Fun Posted August 22, 2014 Share Posted August 22, 2014 Bug Submission: Category: Gameplay Platform: PC Issue Title: Melee reaction triggers overwatch Issue Description: If an agent is being overwatched by one guard and has a melee reaction set, and a second guard walks into the agent's melee range, this will cause the first guard to shoot the agent. While this makes some amount of sense, it is also very annoying. It seems like it would make more sense to cancel a melee reaction when an agent is being overwatched. Steps to Reproduce: Set a melee reaction on an agent. Have a guard find that agent and place it on overwatch. Have a second guard walk into the agent's melee range. A melee reaction by another agent against a different guard on a completely different section of the map can trigger a guard on overwatch to shoot, even if there is no way he could have seen the other agent. Deadbuffalo Posted August 24, 2014 Share Posted August 24, 2014 I've also had enemy activity occur, a guard enter overwatch, and a remote hacked turret doing it's own overwatch fire in another section of the map trigger an overwatch fire of the first guard.
