Quady14 Posted July 25, 2014 Share Posted July 25, 2014 Not sure if this has been brought up before, but I was really curious because I've been really impressed seeing videos of peoples' reactions to opening their Don't Starve Blind Boxes. I love a lot of the new characters in Reign of Giants, but since the Blind Boxes were made pre-RoG, none of the characters/creatures added by the expansion make an appearance. It got me wondering if perhaps there could be any chance we might ever see a series 2 for the Blind Box Collectables in the distant future? I would absolutely love to see a Glommer figure, and Wigfrid and Webber totally deserve their own figures to stand alongside those in the first series.The giants may not work so well to scale with the other figures, but maybe miniature mounted bust figures of them could be a neat idea?Even older figures from before RoG, Beefalo, Pengulls, Bunnymen, Tall/Smallbirds, the Clockwork crew (a Bishop figure would be particularly awesome) would be amazing to see as figurines! I'm pretty confident that for those who've enjoyed collecting these in the past, or who would like to get a couple in the future like myself, a second series of figures would spark up a lot of enthusiasm among the fanbase. Does anyone else feel similarly, or differently? I can understand if for business reasons it isn't feasible, but in the case that lot of people would genuinely like to see a series 2 to the Don't Starve collectable figures, I'd love to hear from you guys, both fellow fans who have had similar thoughts, as well as the good folks at Klei if this topic has been discussed much on their side. At the very least I wanted to spark up discussion about this topic, so please, let me know what you think! I would hope the first series wouldn't be replaced, but I'm not really too savvy on how production of figurines or blind boxes work, so I couldn't say much one way or the other on the matter. Maybe a Werepig or Warrior pig, one of the cave Spiders. Translucent hallucinations. Maybe they wouldn't replace the first set, but if you got a S2 box it could be the originals + these ones? Only ever watching from the shadows. Nightmare Fuel-powered camouflage. Spookiest figure ever.
