Naughty & Nice Survival Tips

Hey guys,

I made this topic to give the people that want it some tips to get through the day easier in the new update of Don't starve, Naughty & Nice

1. Instead of using chests, just make a lot of backpacks and drop them on the floor. They will never despawn and they have 9 inventory slots. Not sure if it is supposed to work like this but it works really well. Krampus will never break your backpacks!

2. Setting up a few bee hive's will set you free from all your health issues. Loot the hives at day for honey and u won't have any health issues (don't do it at night, the bees will attack you). I currently have 3 stacks of 40 honey at day 60.

3. Set up a fast farm. As others have said before, just get a bird, feed him a pumpkin (after getting some through farming) and use the seeds the bird drops to farm more, cook the pumpkin and it gives you like 50% food. Good way of getting food!

4. Need to get rid of spiders? If you manage to kill 1 or 2 just use the meat they drop to get yourself a few piggies and let them help you kill em

5. Don't go for an egg right at the start, it isn't easy to keep one and it consumes quite some time and risk to raise a smallbird.

6. If you are planning on getting a smallbird, keep the piggies away from your egg, they WILL eat it!

Dying means the game is no longer a walk in the park like it was getting to be prior to this update. While it's frustrating in the short term, it means the game will "last longer" now... which is great, if you ask me.

Yeah, those smallbirds are quite a handful at times and not the beefiest character you can have. They are quite adorable though. I've managed to keep one alive for about 4 days at the moment. Anyone know if these guys mature?

I haven't had any luck growing them up bigger than the small ones, hope they don't turn to attack you out of the blue once they grow up

Would be kinda cool though if they were to grow up and help you out in battles
