Someone minds explaining how the sanity loss from stuff while wet works? The wiki version I don't really get. Should I put em in a backpack/chest if it's wet or what?

You lose sanity if items in your inventory are wet, if you are wearing any clothing items that are wet (including standard backpacks), your sanity will drain even faster. If something is wet, you can take it out of your inventory and put it next to a fire pit when it's not raining in order to dry it off. I don't think putting stuff inside a chest helps, as the chest itself can get wet.

 

The Piggyback and Krampus sack are both waterproof, as well as their contents.

The backpack itself also...that explains the sanity drop when not next to a fire post rain...still trying to figure out how to mitigate bone shards for making waterproof items since they are limited resources  (unless you die/res and hammer your bones or get shards from a tumbleweed/catcoon which is like .1% of the time.)
