Bloodsparrow
No, it's not hilarious songs about throwing things on the ground edition. Sadly. So I have yet to get past World 1 in Adventure Mode (which my friend Brett calls my "First World Problem"). I'm playing Wigfried with RoG on and the last couple of times I've played "A Cold Reception" it turns out I'm on an island with no way off and only one "thing" on it. There are no land bridges to other areas, and no wormholes. Full disclosure, this time I used the console to spawn in a bunch of basic materials to get me started because I'm a weak human who just wants to move forward. The last time, I think I may have spawned in one item to replace something I accidentally set on fire. Occasionally, I will discover groups of killer bees bunched up against the edge of the world as if they had been chasing something that went off the map and they couldn't follow. Am I being punished for being a dirty cheater? Or am I missing something? Thanks. NotCrazy
There should be a landbridge somewhere, probably protected by some sort of obstacle: killer beehives, cluster of spiders, bunch of guardian pigs, hound mounds, line of rocks or obelisks. Make sure you've explored the edges of the map thoroughly. Spazmatic
If you want to be sure there's no way off the island, you should make the entire island visible on the map.Type this into the console: GetWorld().minimap.MiniMap:ShowArea(0,0,0,10000) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/36673-a-cold-reception-lonely-island-edition/#findComment-485453 Share on other sites

It works fine in sandbox mode. Hmm, maybe make sure that every inch of the small island is uncovered? Maybe post a screenshot of your map so far... ButterStuffed
It's just divine punishment from the Don't Starve gods, Klei. Draw Klei's logo with human blood in a circle of candles and the curse shall be lifted. Bloodsparrow
Well, I died... I thought I had walked the edge of the island pretty well, but perhaps not. If I happens again, and I'm sure I've uncovered the whole thing, I'll update with screenshots. Thanks!
