I found Wes my first time beating adventure mode, an a game simply wouldnt BE a game on PS4 or XBOX w/o trophies. Every game on console has trophies. To troll it would also imply that we had to go out of our way to earn them, not hardly. An they would be the ones technically trolled considering Sony supposedly "made them" put trophies in. Also, do you work for Klei or are you just speaking for them to a whole audience (PS4) to say to us the ppl who paid $15 for the game that we were being screwed from the beginning by the ppl whose pockets our money went into? nobody cares if your pretty sure about something neither, if you dont know for 100% certain, why would we care of your opinion your pretty sure about. The first owners of things arent know-all GODS, so just cause you had dont starve first dont mean you can talk to anyone however you feel necessary Rant over. That was incredibly lucky that you found Wes on what sounds like your first few attempts. It's a 1% chance, and only spawns on certain worlds. Just becuase you got lucky, doesn't mean others did. The reason every game on console has trophies/achievements is because Sony/Microsoft force devs to put them on, or they don't get on the system. The Steam edition has no trophies, and the game itself is based on the fact that players were less motivated to properly play the game when they had 'achievements' to shoot for. Not to mention the fact that when it was actually revealed to the lead dev of DS that the PS4 version required trophies, this was his reaction. So, @oCrapaCreeper knows what he's talking about, and yes, I will 100% back him up. Also, the 'Accomploshrine' which is simply there to take the mickey out of achievements, what with the fireworks and the "I feel so accomplished", is not in the PC Edition, where there aren't achievements. I understand that 'older' players can be unbareable at times, (take joining any game's forums ever a month or so after the game's release as an example), but sometimes being here longer just means being here for stuff you weren't. And yes I did spend 25 mins looking through Kevin's posts and likes to find that post. Its obvious that Dont Starve is remaining SP Dont Starve but expansion is coming that adds MP feature to Dont Starve, not some other game. As far as basics go, your not buying anything, it'll be free with Dont Starve played on Dont Starve. So basically its still Dont Starve with extra MP option, the kinda thing the guy i'm defending said he'd like to see on Dont Starve an will see- on, you guessed it, Dont Starve. I really am done with this i was making a one liner not tryna debate all afternoon.
