The creature looks at Entropy as it walks onto the man's property, while grabbing the rod from Lewis. In response to Entropy's question, it slowly nods its head as if agreeing , then shook it as if to refute this statement. Even after nodding, though, it stared at Entropy with an unusual curiosity, looking slightly ridiculous with the goggles and this look.

The creature waves Lewis off, as if it has heard the question many times before, but it was caught off guard by the question Entropy posed.  Evidently, it was not used to being referred to as an actual creature by a name, and the fact that it didn't pull out a preplanned message on papyrus furthers this. After a few seconds of awkward silence, the creature reached into its satchel once more, replacing the rod into the pack and pulling out what appears to be a hemisphere of gold. Slightly strange, but the appearance of a fountain quill and a scrap of papyrus makes it obvious the hemisphere was an ink bottle.

The creature looks at the slip of paper. A few seconds later, it moved the quill over the paper, and a name was written in ink, in a stylish calligraphy, though slightly scratchy as the name ended.

Everett.

The newly named creature, Everett, holds its fist up to its mouth, as if it was contemplating on how to answer this question. A few seconds of silence, then it moved its hands away from its face. The creature's mouth fell open, and a small, short, and horrible screeching followed. A second later, its head fell down, and while shadows can't blush, the area around the creature's mouth seemed more translucent.

(Meanwhile, something actually happens on Vilgis's end.)

After some time of progressing normally, Vilgis suddenly stops, a dull clunk ringing out from his end of the tunnel.

"Agh!  Curses."  He says.  "There's a rock wall in the way.  Just hang on!"

The tunnel begins to crumble down on Alma and the satyr.

Vilgis attempts to dig upwards, but after a few feet he hits another stone wall.  This prompts him to emit a string of rather violent swear words.

"We're trapped.  Just hang on, this should only take a second."

He spits some corrosive goo on the rock.

Alma turns back, and when she sees the tunnel is collapsing she walks back and bumps into Vilsig.

She hives the satyr a worried look.

<Here it goes our new member!> She thinks.

Suddenly she releases her breath because she couldn't stand it anymore: she respires and then covers her mouth and nose with her hand.

<I just hope that gas wasn't tossic...>

"Okay, I think I can break this.  Just hang on!"

Vilsig smashes the rock with his head, raining dirt onto Alma and the satyr.  Another smash completely brings down the tunnel, burying the two under ten feet of soil.

"One...more...push!"

Vilgis rams the rock with all his strength, breaking through it and sending him tumbling into a large stone chamber.

"There!  Alright.  Is everybody..."

He looks around, not seeing Alma or the satyr.

"...Okay?"

The dirt moves and Alma appears from the hole in the chamber. She falls on the stoned floor and yells:

"Good job, you dumbass! Now I am all dirty and I was almost suffocated under all that soil!"

She then stands up and pats her dress to remove some dust.

"*cough*...What is this place? Why is it so dark here?"

She asks in a now calmer tone.

"Oh no! My torch!"

She says, after realising the torch she has been carrying all that time was now covered by layers of dirt.

Vilgis bows his head at Alma's first remark.

"I'm sorry.  It was the only way I could get out in time."

He looks around the chamber, which is full of carvings and columns.  A large stone table lies in the center, a small beam of light shining on it.  Various tools and instruments dot the table.

"No idea.  Let's look around."
