Help? Heya Maz, even if you have Reign of Giants installed, you should still be able to play the core/original game (with the DLC content disabled). All you need to do is start a new game save and you should find a check box that will allow you to enable or disable the RoG content. Disable that check box and you should be able to play the core game without DLC content.
