Zoran47
Yeah, so basically the title question. This has to do with the Ice Flingomatic and summer survival and the like Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/33427-what-is-too-close-for-items-to-catch-each-other-on-fire/ Share on other sites
emerphish
It is good to keep them about far enough so if they were both on fire you wouldn't get burned. They can be a little closer but not too much more than that. And it is better to not burn things anyways. Especially since on the first summer of a playthrough you may not have enough ice for an Ice Cube and multiple Ice Flingomatics. But thank you, now that I know I can more adequately prepare for next time I play (everything is too close) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/33427-what-is-too-close-for-items-to-catch-each-other-on-fire/#findComment-436643 Share on other sites
JadedMeiji
So random things can catch fire like planted grass/reeds etc? This doesn't apply to me but still debating if the dlc rog is released to ps4 if I will buy it Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/33427-what-is-too-close-for-items-to-catch-each-other-on-fire/#findComment-437180 Share on other sites

JadedMeiji
@JanH that doesn't quite answer the question I posed... do random things like your grass fields or non renewable resources such as reeds spontaneously combust? Not to sound like a wuss but the rog dlc sounds like it is taking soOoo much away this is one more thing that makes me question the inevitable option of the dlc. .. little seems to be in favor of the dlc for ps4 players... JanH
I'll try to clarify it; grass fields and resources have a chance of spontaneously burning up in the summer heat. On the PC, we're planning on adding world customization options that should allow you to disable it if you want. On the PS4, just like with the original Console Edition release, we're evaluating how to best put in these features and how to make them work optimally with the game, while meeting Sony's certification requirements. Of course, we'll review the concerns brought up in this discussion thread and we'll see if there's anything we can do to address those in a meaningful way. JadedMeiji
Thanks! I guess that will make transplanting fields to your base more dangerous... btw like the smoldering and trading health to save your resources I saw in another postP.s. I really wish we had the "more" options (I want more hounds early on) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/33427-what-is-too-close-for-items-to-catch-each-other-on-fire/#findComment-441960 Share on other sites
