This seemed to fit the bill, though.So, basically, I can open console with CTRL + L, but there's no text box... Ctrl+L is meant for getting rid of that pop up after you open the console. I've checked the properties of the document to find the it wasn't set as read-only, so it's not reverting back to false... You could try going into the options/controls screen and click the 'Debug Console' setting to assign a different key. If you're on OSX the tilde key may be reported as a backslash, so try pressing the tilde key there and see if it works after applying the change. I have RoG and in settings.ini I have the line ENABLECONSOLE = false but I can still use console in game. I couldn't agree more. At the very least, technical mods which are undeniable improvements by any account, such as Better Console, should've been integrated. On the bright side, at least tallbirds raise smallbirds now. Though homeless tallbirds do not create new nests.
