My suggestion about chests.

There is a pretty good mod that even adds a storm cellar with a whole massive bunch of slots and is well balanced. I personally think something like that should be implemented in the main game, storing stuff in tiny chests is quite the hassle.

Nope, it's fine as-is.  All part of base management, which is part of the game.  Unless this uber-chest requires non-renewable resources.  Which at this point is what, thulicite?  Or very rare ones like giant/guardian drops and gravedigger items.    I'd rather have a fire proof chest with the same old 9 slots though.

 

I think giving more uses to thulicite and the guardian horn would be good, to compel people to venture to the ruins more.
