TuffDwarf Posted March 15, 2014 Share Posted March 15, 2014 Having played Don't Starve for more than 550 hours now since late January I have just 2 things to complain/ mention. One is that I'd like to see more slots for characters. I hate having to delete a map to play one of the other characters. Why cannot I have 7 character maps going at once if I want them? The other is a real complaint .. The difference in map content between the default setting and the 'more' setting is too extreme. Let alone the 'lots' setting. Why go from having one or two beefalo in a field to several dozen just because you said you wanted more of them. Can the bar be lowered so that when I play in a more chaotic realm I am not swamped, but challenged? I love having the mechanicals more available, but I don't like them covering every square foot of my map on the 'more' setting, for instance. Overall, I love the game. Addicted is probably a fairer assessment, actually. And I can hardly wait for Reign of Giants! Overall, a big thank you! I miss the days when games had as many save slots as you could shove onto your computer. @Beefalo: I like having lots of beefalo for various challenges. Why not, instead of "more" and "lots", have it be "# per herd", where the player can enter any number?
