With 400 health I don't feel that it is worth it to get something more powerful, too much to do. Devon Aster Posted March 13, 2014 Share Posted March 13, 2014 The spear is my go-to weapon for the same reasons as others have stated: easy to make. I try to always have grass, twigs, and flint with me, so it's quick to craft and replace as needed on the fly. If I can get my hands on tentacle spikes I will use them. It just annoys me that it takes up so much more space to keep extra spikes on hand, where-as the items needed to craft the spear are basic ones I can also use for other things.
