Someone had an idea for an "indirect PvP" of sorts. In it, each player would spawn on completely different islands, with a new item called the "Death Machine", which is placed down like any other item. In it, you can find certain items and turn them into resources to send various hazards at your enemies. A few examples:

-Make fire rain down on them. So it isn't OP, the fire doesn't spread, it just destroys whatever is near.

-Earthquakes that slow down the player and spawn large clusters of Basalt the player can't go around.

-Spawn open sinkholes randomly to Zerg Rush the player with batilisks.

-Create 2 Rock Lobsters at a random point on the level to overtake the world

-Turn a selected blotch of land into a Chess Biome.

-Switch seasons

-Turn YOUR season to Summer (Autumn if its in RoG)

-Call a hound wave early

-Summon all four seasonal boss monsters (Or just the Deerclops if it's not in RoG) for a few days.

-Turn a selected blot of land into a Labyrinth.

-Plant Evil Flowers in an area

That actually sounds pretty neat
