Devon Aster Posted February 28, 2014 Share Posted February 28, 2014 I'm several days into winter and have noticed my heat stone doesn't ever reach that nice glowy red stage anymore. Leaving it by the fire pit doesn't heat it up that much. At most, I've gotten it to reach the yellow stage, even with a roaring fire. Trying to heat it while it's being carried in the inventory just gets it to the neutral (grey) stage. While I understand this might be a result of the new wetness mechanic, it seems a bit harsh when winter is almost constantly wet and cold due to the snow and wet items (such as clothes) sap sanity to the point of needing to be shed.
