KidneyBeanBoy
Punji sticks, IRL, are wooden sticks slathered with cow manure, in order to make sure anyone stabbed by it dies eventually. Since it seems like the one of the unorthodox weapons used in this game, I thought it could be a good addition. It would work as an upgrade for tooth traps, (or possibly your spear) running out over time while making any mob injured by it lose some health each day depending on how much it exerted itself. Any mob capable of eating would also lose about 1 hp for every 2 things it ate. Upgrading the traps to work this way, however, would take a lot of sanity, as you would need to put the manure on manually. With your hands .And that's pretty much it. A bit short, I suppose. Rosten
I think instead of what you said, it should be like a poison effect, that way it actually contributes to your fight instead of "Oh, well, that huge deerclops just got stabbed by my manure-stick, it'll die eventually, might as well just leave it alone while it destroys my base"
KidneyBeanBoy
Well, that's the point. Instead of going "Hey, now that it got hit, it'll die quick and I'll get free drops!" you think "Hey, that bunnyman got hit, now I can stalk it until it dies and get it's tail, Ravio-style." WAXMELL
You should be able to put them on spears and other sharp stuff too but not manure because if you foud a beefalo you could put the manure on an axe and then get a strong weapon early on.
