KomodoDave
Uh... does it really matter? o_o It seems pointless and irritating. I agree with OP; it's just wasting time by having to turn twice as many pages to reach a particular setting.
the truthseeker
Well, when they add more settings/game options (and in the DLC, they said they would such as more monster selectability such as Krampus for example,) the extra options have to go somewhere. If you think they shouolld move those "second page" to the first page, you have to give them more reason to spend extra resources (away from the DLC ATM) than "it's annoying." kraken121
I sitll think they should change the name of the "action" button or something, i have no idea what though, my first couple games i went 100 days before i figured out what it even did, though i read the controls. Chopping down a forest and gathering only using mouse clicks was not very efficient haha
KomodoDave
Well, when they add more settings/game options (and in the DLC, they said they would such as more monster selectability such as Krampus for example,) the extra options have to go somewhere. If you think they shouolld move those "second page" to the first page, you have to give them more reason to spend extra resources (away from the DLC ATM) than "it's annoying." We're not suggesting moving all options onto one page. If you visit the first settings page and view the bottom half of the listed options, those same options appear as the top half of the next page. That's what's shown in OP's images. It seems pointless because you've already seen and configured the options, and it means you see only half the new options you could on the next page. It necessitates scrolling through more pages than you'd otherwise have to in order to configure later settings. Very annoying.
