Maz
Herro, I am Maz, and I am still getting used to the forums here, so I only have 6 posts. That doesn't matter though. I have a two great character ideas, and I am open to constructive criticism! On with the characters! Wright the Rich Kid"Will this game ever end?" Description: Wright is a boy, maybe about 11, who lives with his rich mom in Florida. His dad disappeared a few years back, but he was some crazy magician, who barely made any money. His mom made all the money. He used to whine and complain to get anything he wanted, the most common, video games. He loved them, and he thinks that when he gets put in the Don't Starve world, it is a game. Back story (if needed): Wright's mom never had time for him, ever. Since she was so rich, she hired butlers, chefs, fake friends, anything to keep him occupied. Since they were paid, he could ask for anything and they would get him it. Always getting what he wanted, Wright always got the perfect dinners, made by 5 star chefs, who knew what to make for him. That included no veggies, and ice cream for desert. Stomping his feet, yelling, let me tell you, he was the most annoying Call of Duty player that anyone has ever heard. When he turned 11, he was sleeping, night light on, of course, when a shadow hand crept through his huge bedroom, and snatched him. Starting Items: Nothing Perks: Stomps his feet and whines to stun enemies!Hunger is higher and it decreases slower. He thinks it is all a game, causing less sanity loss at night and against monsters. Refuses to eat veggies, even cooked ones. Any body clothing takes 1/4 more materials. Loses hunger, health, and sanity when he eats any type of spoiled/raw food. Pros:When you right click any mob, you stomp your feet and scream, stunning them for 3 seconds, with a 25 sanity loss per use.His hunger is high, and it decreases slower.Less sanity loss in the night and against monsters. Cons:Will not eat any vegetables. (Exception if on crock pot)Any body clothing takes 1/4 more materials for each material. (Apart from ingredients that start with 1-3, the rest that can't be put in a whole number when adding quarters will be rounded. All armor modifications will be at the bottom of this page.)Loses hunger, health. and sanity when he eats any spoiled/raw food. Wiley the Wolf Hunter"The hunt begins!"(By the way, Wolf /= Hound)Description: Wiley is about 40, and he has hunted wolves all of his life. Taught by his dad, he knows everything that can be made from a hound's tooth off by heart, but he goes wacko when he kills an entire pack. Back Story: At age 8, Wiley's dad took Wiley for a walk in the forest, where it was rich with wolves and other animals. After 1 hour of walking, they started trying to find their way back, but they couldn't. Stranded in the middle of the forest, his dad decided to use what he learned from hunting with friends mixed with what he learned in Boy Scouts when he was a kid. This little knowledge turned into Wiley's life. Living in a shack in the wilderness that is rich with wolves, learning to survive with little food, and even where to go and when! By the time he turned 40, the house was filled with wolf skin, wolf teeth, wolf everything! His dad dying earlier that year, he pretty much went crazy for what his dad taught him as a kid. Starting Items: Wiley starts off with a sword renamed the "Silver Sword", which he always carries with him, and it cannot be removed from the first slot in his inventory. This sword does the damage of a Ham Bat, but only to Hounds. It does not do any damage to other mobs. Perks: Knows all recipes of anything made from a Hound's tooth by heart.Goes wacko when he kills the entire pack of wolves. Hunger is low but it goes down slower.Shouts out "This is dangerous at night!" when you enter a swamp or a killer bee/bee patch at full darkness with only a single light source.Sanity decreases fast, but raises a bit when near wolves. Wiley when he goes wacko: Wiley goes wacko after killing the periodic wolves that charge him every 7-10 days. When he kills them all, his screen turns a transparent red, and even though the back of him doesn't change, if you look at his face, he is panting crazily, showing his teeth, growling a bit. His inventory disappears so you can't pick any items up. You can't open your map with tab, but if any hostile monsters get close, you will hear a mumble, and he says "FORWARD" "LEFT" "RIGHT" or "BEHIND". You don't have a weapon, but in this form, your fists do as much damage as a tentacle spike, and it is like he has a log suit on. This lasts for 3 minutes, but if it finishes from dusk to night, it will show him die and respawn where he started, and if it is during the day, lightning will strike and he will be back where he started, sanity dropped by a long shot, but no other changes. Pros: Knows all recipes for stuff made with Hound's teeth.Goes wacko when he kills the entire hound pack.Warns you in dangerous biomes.Hunger goes down slower.Cons: Sanity decreases faster.Going wacko decreases Sanity also.No way of escaping wacko mode, unless you run from the Hounds.Going wacko can usually not be planned for any occasions, like boss fights. Wright Clothing Modifications:Note that any helmets don't matter, since his head isn't fat, it is his body.Grass suit: 13 cut grass and 2 twigs instead of 10 cut grass and 2 ropes.Log Suit: 10 wood and 2 ropes instead of 8 wood and 2 ropes.Marble Suit: 15 marble and 5 ropes instead of 12 marble and 4 ropes.Backpack: 5 cut grass and 5 twigs instead of 4 cut grass and 4 twigs.Dapper Vest: 10 Hound's teeth and 8 silk instead of 8 hound's teeth and 6 silk.Puffy Vest: 1 winter Koalefant trunk, 10 silk, and 2 beefalo wool instead of 1 winter Koalefant trunk, 8 silk, and 2 beefalo wool.Breezy Vest: 1 Koalefant trunk and 10 silk instead of 1 koalefant trunk and 8 silk. END NOTE: Thanks for reading, if you read it all. I spent about an hour and a half making this post, plus coming up with the ideas with some help with friends. If I get enough feedback, I might add the "Announcements" quotes for each one, since I have them almost done, but for now I think this is all you will need. Klei may or may not need ideas, but hopefully they will see this, after you guys help.
