I haven't been following unfortunately The only way to get new caves is to make a new world...Scheduled updates are over but we're still getting some minor ones that tweak and fix some features in the game, next one for instance should be the one that adds the new Chesters in the game. Other than that, the team is working on a DLC we know nothing of.
