Why can't the weapon just go straight back into it's ' equip slot ' so you can use it again without a loss of health points and weapon decay? Does anyone think that the boomerang should be fixed? Spazmatic Posted October 10, 2013 Share Posted October 10, 2013 It's a matter of timing, really. Space before it hits you in the face and you're set! Also you can't fix something that isn't broken . Boomerangs can be used by anyone besides Wes and Wendy to kill birds with, for morsels and feathers. It doesn't cost that much either, especially when you're later in the game and have a crapton of silk and logs.. To a certain extend you can use it to combat with. Ranged enemies like MacTusk cannot dodge a fine piece of Australia in the face ( disclaimer: Does not contain a piece of actual Australian land). It's not annoying at all for me, in fact I love it for being such a relatively easy ranged weapon to obtain and so dangerous at the same time. Laughed my head off when I killed myself with it. And like Spazmatic said, "you can't fix something that isn't broken". I don't really see how the damage and durability loss of a boomerang hitting you in the face constitutes as unfair. So I can remove this one...It is not stupid. You had a matter of concern (although it sounded a little like a rant ^^) and soe users answered. I was reminded of my first boomerang dead for example and I actually enjoyed this thought.Please keep posting if something annoys you but you have to keep in mind there are things already mentioned in the past.That doesn't mean it couldn't be good to mention them again because perhaps something has changed since then.Especially the boomerang is now a part of the game so long most of the ''older'' players don't even think about change it anymore. I was so excited I took it to the park as soon as we had the pleasure of going to one. There with diluted j20 pumping in my body I threw the boomerang with all my little might, I watched as it flew through the air spinning majestically. Little did my small mind know it was making a precise trajectory course back towards its original point of take off. I spent the next week nursing a small bruise on my head. (Note J20Hawkz has an unusually hard head, so please don't try this). Basically don't tell me by throwing a well made boomerang you won't get hurt if you fail to catch it when it comes back.
