Random Pickups

I have found multiple useless things in graves that I have dug up; such as melted eggs, kazoos, marbles, tiny rocketship, ect... what can I do with these items?

Also, is there anything I can eat/consume that isn't hard to acquire that will get my health up. I'm just hovering at around 30 health and I can't seem to get it up (its been like this for 5 days ingame).

Please help me, thanks.

You can heal you using crock pot foods(easy) or spider glands/healing salves(more difficult).

The gravedigger items can be given to the pig king and he will give gold for them.

Give the items to the pig king, this is the only use they have.

Eat some crock pot foods, or craft honey poltices, if you have honey.

Gravedigger items are tradable to the pig king for gold. The gnome found at the Box Thing is a Gravedigger item.

And also as noted, you have to craft healing items to improve health if down too low, as most foods before crockpots only heal one health per consumption when cooked, if any at all.

Start with healing salves (needs one spider gland, two ashes, one rock and a science machine to craft.)  As you finally make a base with an alchemy machine, craft a crock pot and make healing foods. Early on, Dragonpie from a farmed plot is my favorite (dragonfruit with three twigs is the most economical; just make sure you use no meat,)This is followed by  Pirogi (one egg, one half meat and one half vegetables with no twigs; for obvious reasons it's suggested to craft a birdcage or have access to tallbiird nests) and honey ham (two meats, and one honey; can be done with one monster meat, two morsels and one honey,) While fish-sticks are awesome with 40 health, it often requires you to be nearby a pond and/or a swamp to get fish from ponds/Merfolk, but also heals 40 health ( and requires one fish/ell, ONLY one stick, and any two fillers [besides another stick, and adding two berries may make kabobs instead.]) And if you have Mandrakes to spare (HA!) one of them can be made into Mandrake soup for 100 health per consumption and no knockout.

Concluding with food items on a before and after crock pot strategy, Butterflies can be used for health restoration from both butterfly wings (8 health per) before a crockpot and (when you have a crockpot) butter muffins (one wings, one vegetable, no meats and does 20 health per consumption.) And going after butterflies gives you the small (2 percent) chance of it dropping butterfly butter, which is used for the most awesomely rare waffles (one butter, one egg of any kind, and one berries heals SIXTY health per use!)

Finally, by the time you are getting reeds and honey, you can craft Honey Poultices It requires one Papyrus (four reeds) and two honey per poultice.

Make sure you have found a swamp by now as between the birdcages, darts, poultices and/or pan flutes, cut reeds can be quickly used up!

Also, where can I find gears? I need to make a fridge.

Either dig them from graves or you have to kill Clockwork Bishops, Knights or Rook.

Or (if brave,) go down to the caves (and I do mean deep like ruins.) and hit things like broken clockworks.

Which is more difficult and time consuming than the above, especially before the first winter.

What he said. I thought of adding the word foolish but it would have come out mean. If you're in the caves, you're likely not before your first winter and/or a starting player.
