The Mod Uploader for Steam Workshop is now live for OSX and Linux.  If you haven't used the uploader before, check out this thread, or cut to the chase and find them in Steam under LIBRARY > Tools > Don't Starve Mod Tools.

A new Mod Uploader for Windows is also included in the update, and while it was mostly re-written to be compatible with the OSX/Linux builds, should function only cosmetically different than it did previously.

Cheers,

Brook

I've corrected an OSX / Linux packaging issue.  If you had previously tried to install the OSX or Linux versions and gotten an empty folder, this should now be resolved.  You may have to restart your Steam client for the change to take effect.

Not seeing a Fix for that Empty Folder on Ubuntu, When trying to run the mod tools, i get a error staying Missing Excutable

Yes, I can't see any change either.

I made another pass through the Steam configuration and checked a bunch of boxes that I apparently missed the first time through. It seems my previous attempt at fixing this would have depended on how you acquired Don't Starve (eg. as a gift, from humble store, from beta, etc...).  I think I've covered all the bases now, so please give it another try.

Remember you may need to completely exit and re-start your Steam client for the change to take effect.

Well done, now it works nice and comfy :D.

I have one suggestion for this little program. I don't know if it is possible, but it would be great, if anyone included in Contribution of specific mod on Steam Workshop would be able to edit this particular mod through this program.

Anyway, thanks a lot for porting this on Linux.

Thanks for trying it out, glad to hear it's working now.

Also thanks for the suggestion, however I don't recall seeing anything that would enable that through the Steam API.  There are certain functions that Steam only supports through the website, such as uploading additional screenshots, which we just don't have access to from our tools.
