winter is coming time for ice fishing ?

As kevin said we will see winter, witch will mean less plants and animals. So my suggestion is how about we add ice fishing! i seen a suggestion to make docks i think if we add the 2 together we might "not starve"

Winter is supposed to be harder to survive, so I wouldn't be surprised if pond froze and no more frogs spawned from them.

Perhaps you have to break the ice with a weapon or fire before you can fish? That would be nice.

I would opt for not being able to fish at all during winter. Sources of food should be blocked off from us. Which begs the question... will rot be introduced before winter? And if so, will a way to preserve foods be introduced to stave off rot? Depending on the timing I think rot/preservation would come after winter.

For preserving fish that would mean smoking/drying them.

Stocking up for food cause winter is coming sounds fun to me. I want exploring to be a fun and thought out process. What should I bring? will I run into a snow biome that is bare with no food? Should I bring more tools incase I come across a cave or something? Should I enter the cave or will Yeti come out and bite my face off? I want some more fear in a sense. All this assuming the incorporate caves and such LOL. I'm a dreamer!!
