Red Feathers

As a regular user of bird traps. I find myself over ridden with red feathers. At first I found them to be useless but I found a use for them. I use them to create tracks from area to area so I can travel at night of day without having to look at the map.Like hansel and gretel. Thought I would share this with you guys haha. They are pretty good for marking through swamp territory as well.

However, I still cannot find a way to farm crow feathers effectively as I have 50 red feathers to 3 crow feathers. Anyone have any ideas?

Yes i have 2 ideas for u infact. They arent my own ideas but they have been suggested in other threads:

1) Put ur traps on bridges if u have any in ur map. On bridges there are no red birds, only crows!

2) Stone biomes, with lots of minable rocks and a surface area that has the same color as roads tend to have only crows aswell. However since biomes can be mixed this is not a guarantee. Bridges are a more reliable option.

Oh alright! Thanks. Wouldn't have thought of it myself.

EDIT: perhaps there should be papyrus tips wilson can research for people who don't read forums. This game is very smart and intuitive enough already though

The dark forests also tend to have more crows in them than red birds.

Rocky Boimes almost always has crows and Dark regions have a relatively higher ratio. I've had this happen to me when I was laying down traps on bright grounds.
