TheThorny
Make a torch, but don't equip it. Then have it as your cursor, and click on a tree. This will start the forest fire.
NeedPants
There are currently no walls in the game, but people are inventive and made walls out of trees and/or. Becoz of this, the hotfix that came out nov 29th forces u to leave alot of space between trees and buildings that have collision, in order to prevent us from making a wall out of it. Campfires are also prone to this nerf. Now 2 things to make sure u tried everything to make ur campfire work: 1)Did u build a regular fire, or a fire pit. Fire pits will NEVER start a forest fire. 2)Did u try to fuel ur regular fire with a log or 2? It will increase the size of the fire and as far as i understand it is now necessary to do this in order to make trees catch on fire. In any case it should still be possible using a regular fire.
