*the crying gets louder, as it seems to split into 2 voices*

"Do you... Hear that?"

Jakob stops.  "Who's crying?"

[Blewcheese]

(WHAT. WHO DOES SHADOWFALL KILL YOU CANT JUST DO THAT)

"Viti Mortos, any clue? Do we go closer to it...?"

[Battal]

Viti-Mortos sniffs the air.  "I sense treachery.  Do as you must, though."

*One of the voices crying stops. The other continues to cry*

[Blewcheese]

Joseph sighs.

"I'm an idiot. I hope that's been established."

He summons his light blade, and carefully walks toward the sound of the crying.

*A blaze of fire pushes Joseph away*

Sundrop: "don't get any closer bastard."

[Blewcheese]

Joseph pats the fire out.

"Oh, Sundrop. Long time no see. So what's up with the crying? You terrorizing someone?"

[Ellebelly24]

Sundrop: "no, I'm comforting my sister. Now shoo with you!"

Snowfall: *can be heard crying*

[Blewcheese]

"Snowfall's your sister? Why's she crying?"

Joseph remains persistent.

[Ellebelly24]

Sundrop: "Why do you care? You really don't"

[Blewcheese]

"Yeah, we've been traveling for ages together, went through constant sh*t, and I don't care about her well being in the least. Move over."

He charges past Sundrop.

[Ellebelly24]

*Sundrop slaps him in the face and passes him*

Sundrop: "Yeah, you know what, you really are a bastard. Leave my sister alone."

[Will]

Dark Will charges toward Sundrop, sending her flying with a jump side kick.

"There's only one doppelganger here. And it's me."

Will catches up, seeing Sundrop.

"What the hell!? Two doppelgangers?!"

"Make it three."

Out of the shadows waltzes Dark Satoshi.

"You know, that Shadowfall guy really can pull some strings. By the way, I go by Sakutaro, now."

"What the hell is going on here?!?"

(I'm playing my royal flush. I always save one in my sleeve. What I'm trying to say is you should never play poker with me.)

Sundrop: "Sup Dark Will, Sakutaro. My name is Sundrop, and you all know my sister. In fact, I better get back to her."

*she dissapears in a blaze of fire, obviously going back to the girl crying*

"Oh, so your alive now. It's not like it's the weirdest thing that's been happening."

He follows after Sundrop towards Snowfall.

so could someone sum up for me, pls ? I've read this to about 30 pages a little time ago, and then I stopped, and I can't read 98 pages as fast :/

Okay, so, here's the basic lore you have to know:

The group woke up on the Islands, apart from eachother and seemingly alone.  After finding and following a series of clues, they meet Azcar Vorteth.  After completing some tasks for him, he tells them about Shadowfall, an immensely powerful shadow demon trapped in the very place they are.  They then head to Hammerfall Canyon to meet some friends of his, who can help finding Shadowfall.  

 

Upon reaching the canyon, they meet Wilson P. Higgsburry, a scientist who is building a portal to Their dimension.  However, he has lost an important piece deep underground. The group heads into the caves, and finds the portal piece.  Soon afterwards, Satoshi is killed in a strange mental battle within a school.  Upon entering the dimension, the group talks with Them and offers them 3 ancient artifacts.  They give the demons two of these in exchange for Shadowfall's location.  They tell the group that he is trapped deep underground, in the ruins.

 

Upon reaching the ruins, the group is attacked by a group of shadow demons.  Snowfall falls down the sinkhole and dies, but returns as a ghost.  They find Shadowfall's tomb, and fight the demon lord, who is hanging on a wall. They implale him with his old sword, but he sends it flying back at Azcar, killing him and trapping his soul.  Shadowfall then breaks free and warps away, teleporting the group back to Azcar's home.

 

The group heads back to Wilson's home, where Jakob devises a plan to find Shadowfall.  He plans to trap a cage, who can tell them.  He builds a cage out of a fiery material while the group gets souls to lure the demon.  They then meets Viti-Mortos, a powerful shade, and trap him.  He tells them that Shadowfall has gone to Oranihil, the Edge of Nothing.  He has locked himself in with a Shadow Seal, which can only be broken by two beacons of light.  He and the group then head to the first beacon's temple.
