I get bothered by the fact that when I plant my tree wall around my camp the trees generally end up zig zagging when I want a straight line of them...

So I propose a type of grid to plant trees and place your buildings (science machine etc.) To organise your camp and just make it generally less messy...

I'd love to see if people have the same problem, if you think I'm just crazy feel free to say so

The consensus appears to be that having a grid would make the game look artificial. Also, there's a problem tight now that moves your planted stuff around with time. Perfectly aligned stuff tend to end up al messed up in the long run.

The nov 29 hot fix should have just removed the ability to make tree walls. A bit of a pity

Fortunately Excess has ways to make us have a grid.

There are also ways to align things based upon the numbers on the stack you are hovering with. And the introduction of the hammer helps in relocating undesirable crooked items.
