Where can I find "stingers"?

Well, I wanted to make the tool that makes monster fell asleep, but I cant find any stinger , where can I find them?

You have to kills bees for them. I was a little depressed that the blow dart is a one time use though.

Unless I'm much mistaken, you get them from bees by either killing them or capturing them in bug nets. I've not had much experience in either though so I might be wrong.

I caught 6 and no stinger, but stupid me decided to set them free and they attacked so I killed them and I got 6 stingers, 1 from each.

You can use the regular traps for them, which I believe is the only method of killing them which can guarantee that they won't become aggro at you. It's fairly quick too, placing several around a few bee boxes will keep you busy collecting the drops.
