hacks in DST?

So i played a public server yesterday after not playing for a while and I saw a bunch of people speed hacking and somehow respawning their characters when they died after rejoining. After they were done playing they somehow crashed the server instantly. Idk how long this has been a thing but klei you guys should probably investigate and patch this..?

it's always been like this.

The LUA backend of dont starve was always designed like a singleplayer game with no safeguards.

the number of exploits and flaws are innumerable, even despite klei's best efforts to catch some.

If you see somebody with considerable hours who isn't using any form of client cheating in DST, you should be impressed and you should keep them close as a friend.

If you're talking about speedhacking or revives or whatever, I rarely ever see that. 

Do you consider stuff like Craft Pot or zoom mods client cheating?
