Hello hunters!

Today we’re launching the Powers-A-Plenty Update! Available on both Steam and Nintendo Switch 2, This update aims to add variety to hunts by expanding the pool of powers and putting more of an emphasis on powers that change how you interact with the world instead of simply boosting the power of your hunter.

Powers-A-Plenty also adds an entirely new type of power: The “Weapon Power”. Weapon powers aim to change how you play for the remainder of the hunt by doing things like tweaking the core rules of your weapon’s move set, adding new attacks, or changing how existing attacks behave.

In addition to all of the tweaks to the powers in the game, we’ve also been fixing bugs and implementing QoL suggestions that we’ve seen reported or suggested. We've also updated localization support for Russian and Castilian Spanish.

Final? Oh... :(
So after that we can only count on possible dlc.

The next (and final) content update

Noooo! T_T

Will there at least be DLCs for it? I mean, I can see both weapon expansions and area+enemy expansions. I really hope it isn't left for dead!

As for weapons?

  • Dual Dagger types, with quick slashes, heavy double stabs and even thrown dagger attacks.
  • Boomerangs, with short "melee" throws or long piercing heavy throws.
  • Blade and Board, as a more defensive option. Blades could be swords, axes, pickaxes, claw-swords - basically anything sword/axe-esque. "Boards" (aka shields) could be made of all kinds of things; Wooden, stone, gems, rillo / wollusk / bulbug shells etc. The possibilities are so vast!

And I bet there are more far ideas for this game than just more weapons and areas+enemies.... just please keep expanding it! T_T

Is this update available on Switch 2 as well or just PC?  Just curious.

The patch is currently going through the submission process with Nintendo and will be live when that is complete!
