Now, with the release of WX-78's skill tree and the ability to transfer modules to the chassis, I’ve been thinking about Winona’s skill tree — specifically regarding the way her Teleport Stations work.

Basic Mechanics: To teleport, you need a Portasol in your inventory and a Teleport Station connected to a generator.

Destination Rule: Currently, teleporting always takes you to the nearest station. If there are several on the map, you are sent to the one at the shortest physical distance from where you activated the Portasol.

Would it be possible to change this so it works more like WX-78’s teleport? My idea is to keep the current activation (clicking the item in hand) to go to the nearest destination, but also allow the player to open the map and select a specific Teleport Station to travel to, just like WX-78 selects the chassis.

In my opinion, this would be a very beneficial quality-of-life improvement. What do you guys think?

No. Why do u want to make every character's teleportation same? It's their feature, if you want to play that kind of teleportation, then choose corresponding character, instead of making them similar.

And because of that Winona teleport station got no limit, which will lead her teleportation even stronger than Wanda if you can choose ur destination(only worse than Mr.Wortox)

Gang if the only thing stopping a character's feature from being the same as another character's is an unnecessary fiddling around of positioning then the difference shouldnt have been there in the first place

besides, Winona's would still be wayyy more different than wx's

WX, can do it for free and can move tp locations but Winona only has a fixed position that she can tp to that needs recharging to work with an item that takes an inv slot.

Keep in mind that Winona has 2 teleport skills, the other one is what lets her choose teleport spots (wormholes) but at the cost of not being able to choose where the wormholes are. There should remain some sort of reason to choose between them.

Ugh, can’t you tp there and move the tp station by dissembling it?

And as Wx you need to use transporter to send ur stuff to it, that’s also at least 1 inventory taken.

Winona TP will be much much stronger than wx’s and Wanda’s if you can TP as you choose.

I’m pretty sure OP want that to happen just because they’re Winona main, and want their main character be stronger, just like those Wendy mains, without considering the balance

I want this so much ;-;

I wouldn't care if the cost is doubled for direct teleportation

I Think this change if applied would make telelocator usage much better for all characters in the late game, setting telelocator focuses the same way you make winona telepads is still very expensive and tedious to replace the gems everytime. Maybe make it so if you put celestial shards/jewels or iridescent gems they won’t break each tp.

Oh, I have the perfect tip for that.
If you have both the Teleport skill and the delivery drone, you can keep one chassis at base and as many drones(in item form) there, and once you need to send items back to base, or to another body. Switch to the base chassis, deliver one drone with the rest as items to the chassis that has the items that you want to deliver, then deliver those drones back to where you need them!

WX can only have 4 (way less if you get them possessed)and they are bigger investments , it is fair that winona's are weaker.
