Now, with the release of WX-78's skill tree and the ability to transfer modules to the chassis, I’ve been thinking about Winona’s skill tree — specifically regarding the way her Teleport Stations work.
 
Basic Mechanics: To teleport, you need a Portasol in your inventory and a Teleport Station connected to a generator.
 
Destination Rule: Currently, teleporting always takes you to the nearest station. If there are several on the map, you are sent to the one at the shortest physical distance from where you activated the Portasol.
 
Would it be possible to change this so it works more like WX-78’s teleport? My idea is to keep the current activation (clicking the item in hand) to go to the nearest destination, but also allow the player to open the map and select a specific Teleport Station to travel to, just like WX-78 selects the chassis.
 
In my opinion, this would be a very beneficial quality-of-life improvement. What do you guys think?

I personally am mixed by this. Winona is already a really good character outside of the teleports, and she's still the uncontested best character for bulk transfer of items with the telebrella and isn't too far behind other warp methods if you plan your setup correctly  (which is also something I enjoy! I like how Winona's is much more plan heavy compared to most characters pick a point and set it options, even if you realistically need a mod for that to be feasible).

I personally think a compromise would be to allow the telelocator focus/staff to allow for point specific warps. It would allow for some nice travel lategame in exchange for needing some significant investment to startup and continuously run.

Yah, remove the aspect that you need to plan teleport station distance carefully, and make Winona able to spam teleport station like brainless fly is definitely more interesting and balance than current situation
