So I've had a good deal of time to mess around with Wx 78 and now that we have a general idea of his full capabilities I'm going to say something controversial and I'm begging people not to get too heated about this.

They have far too much circuit space for what he gets out of these circuits and so what I propose is putting alpha and beta back into one meter but extend the meter by 1 by default and then keep the skill to increase it by another one while gamma circuits will keep their own meter.

I enjoy Wx now which is definitely something I can't say I ever have throughout his previous incarnations he's got a good deal of variety and fun effects. The issue is honestly just his circuits he gets a lot for the sheer size of his circuit space.

Also to account for this some circuits could also get a reduction prong size

Also as an aside I think their revival ability should probably come with a higher cost than just needing to recharge their battery.

I started playing with Wx for a bit, and if those circuits were not separated, I'd stick with just the Speed + Night vision. Like the value of not needing to carry lanterns, staffs, or miner hats, and not needing to refuel them is so good. Through my current world, all of the Alpha circuits felt like actual unlocks that I was rewarded for going after instead of sidegrades or "funny haha 500 health" memes, so while they hit a plateau as of right now, I used their smaller versions for very long. Same thing with the Temperature circuits, now I can use them while having a worse light. So while I get the sentiment, their current best Circuit setup is the same as before the skill tree (Speed + Vision), to the point that they are the ones that got the "weakest" buffs of the skills, speed reducing the -% of heavy items (the major one being piggy back, as you dont carry statues every day, nor use marble armor while exploring) and you still need to have more than one to get a good effect, and night losing the moggles(way easier on the eyes).

Also theres the Eletric circuit(that requires you to take damage) not needing to compete with health circuits( that make you less killable).

Personally i don't think there's a problem with the tree specifically...well aside from the revive skill it's just that he gets access to too many circuits at once which really makes him seem to good at everything.

Get the torches and burn him!

Separating these circuits, while probably overpowered, has been my favorite part of the wx update. Way more than everything else.

I think keeping them in one will result in people just eventually using super acceleration, opto/illu and the temperature circuits.

Only time I ever saw someone use another circuit was full super gastro in a pub server, and it was more of haha funny rather than gameplay reasons.

I do feel spoiled for choice now as compared to before. We get the best of both worlds now, though it ends ups back to sticking to just one circuit set up for the main body; but it's really nice and I don't want to see this changed. >=200 for a stat and still having access to beta circuits is incredibly nice. WX was op in ds and I've always felt that they should be the same with a skilltree.
