So about Wurt and the Lunar branch of Wx

So this feels weird to bring up considering Wurt is low on the list of survivors who need skill tree revisits but the Wx lunar affinity kinda makes me think of how Wurt's skill tree merm interactions could have been handled so much better for example giving merms fishing rods and allowing them to mimick Wurt when she starts fishing or perhaps tool merms gathering items into stacks for you or even a skill that makes them plant pinecones to streamline tree labor.

 

These are just a few examples but yeah seeing what's possible through that lunar skill makes me see how much potential was wasted when it comes to how merms could have impacted Wurt's gameplay loop.

Wurt is already one of if not the best character in the game when it comes to survival, especially with her merms being better than pigs in every way plus tilling farmland. Complaining that they can't do things like fishing or planting trees is just so nitpicky.

Is it? Many people complained about how much her tree focused on making her minions stronger offensively but what we are seeing is rather than focusing so much raw power a different path could have been taken that could ease the burdens that push some away from her instead. I'm not complaining nor am I demanding changes as I said she's very low on the list of those who need a revisit but you can't honestly tell me that the concept of merms truly assisting you build up your kingdom isn't more interesting than such an extreme lean into dps.
