I personally am, and always have been, a WX-78 main. These new circuits and circuit changes don't add anything interesting to the character, at all. Of course, the alpha circuit changes were expected-- I don't personally mind the health circuit and hunger circuits being nerfed (50% > 20% is pretty ouch though), but the Beanbooster and Electrification nerfs baffle me. Electrification as a circuit was already niche outside of tank builds, now it's practically pointless to run more than one, and that's only for the electric resist, not for the actual shocking itself. Beanbooster now takes 14 seconds to generate a single shield point, making its alpha tinkering perk practically worthless, especially given its health buff has been nerfed back from 10 to 5hp/30s per circuit. One nerf at a time, please.

Now, the Gamma circuits feel like they could have been interesting and definitely could be changed to be interesting, but waiting 30 seconds and paying 3 slots to scare enemies is not worth it at all. Eating rot to make nutribricks is a funny gimmick, until you realize they give the stats of a carrot for 5/4/3 pieces of spoiled food makes them also worthless. Spin Cycle doesn't even act as AoE and only works with axes. The blocking circuit has a 2 minute cooldown for a football helmet protection buff (not even a full block) and the "buffed" version (which costs 2 insight points to access) gives... +10 planar defense?

I wish there was something positive I could say about these circuits other than "oh, that has the potential to be an interesting gimmick", but right now, these circuits are going to need some significant tinkering before they can be anything more than that. I really hope that whatever you all on the development team are cooking gives some more flavor to these currently bland circuits.

The electic circuit isn't really a nerf but more a change of use.
Its kind of more an anti group circuit now since the arcs from that circuit now do damage.
so even though the base dmg isn't as high as it used to be it technically can do more damage to a group.
I personally perfer having it be a single target focused circuit the way it was before cause then it allowed for more dps via tanking.

Oh... so the arc does damage now... yeah that's not as good as before. Now if the damage was based off if you where being hit by a single target or not and it couldn't chain, maybe that could feel better?

Nah, I think the way we had it was way better, there might have been overvaluing the shock damage with the nerf/adjustment.

False, the electrical shock from one target hitting you initially is 15 per circuit rather then the original 30, and the arcing stun does in fact do no damage when this occurs. Also the damage of the full blast with 3 circuits, went from 300 on a target to 225 on a target (wetness has no effect on this strangely enough).

Previously, on live, the damage reflection would be 30 on dry and 50 on wet, for potential of up to 150 reflect damage on a wet target

With the current that is 15 on dry, 25 on wet with a potential reflect of up to 75.

It would seem the decision was to make it so that the eruption had most of the damage, but for this to occur reliably, you need 3 of the circuits and to deliberately take damage.

Before - 30-90 dry, 50-150 wet

Now - 15-45 dry, 25-75 wet

Eruption, first iteration - 300, second iteration - 225

I was not aware of this! I like that change. I sure wish Klei told us about that instead of just saying "Damage was nerfed", because that's actually kind of cool.
Still, the circuit is now pretty useless when stacked, which is unfortunate.

Spin-cycle would be a lot more fun if you could move during it and be a weaker weather pain.

I would even take it working similar to Warbis where the longer you attack a specific enemy or tree the faster you spin
