She does use shadow magic but unless maxy she is not really an ally for them its more like she is using their power without permission, so im not sure if she shoud have a lunar side or not in her skill tree. But yea, she uses shadow magic but isn't like... melded, with it or something. Sure it is literally keeping her alive but I wouldn't be surprised if she could make some Lunar based clocks. It’s devotion towards the Shadow Queen (Charlie) and the Cryptic Founder (Wagstaff), both of which are aligned accordingly. She's just a survivor using the resources she has. Cruvimaster Posted March 29 Share Posted March 29 Willow is simply a dark character, not unlike Wendy's personality, and she works for the shadow side and, well, her skill tree has both affinities. There's no justification for the delusion that Wanda should only have an affinity with the shadows. Even Maxwell, like Willow, could easily access both sides, since power is more important to him than any feeling of loyalty to Charlie. I even believe that Klei will do this with Maxwell, but since his skill tree could take several years at the current pace, I think the debate at this point is just a way to pass the time. Using their gear isn't the same as allegiance in the case of Wormwood he's stuck in the lunar camp because he is born from the the entity of that camp. Maxwell is the only other survivor who would realistically fall under this just not for the same reason as Wormwood. Aside from the fact his power is still technically under Charlie's control there's also the fact he already made a deal with her during his refresh animation so it would make zero sense lore wise for him to have a lunar branch unless we consider his refresh trailer non canon.
