I just remembered this thing exist but... I can't find a single use for it that seems practical or useful, I was wondering if anyone had an ideas for it.

It could be nice as a way to bait certain things like worms or hounds if the item was changed a bit but as it stands its kind of... well not good.

I feel like you should get like 20 of those from cooking once, like how you get 3 jellybeans from cooking once. They also probably should make creatures prioritize eating it over fighting you. Maybe even give them a movement speed decrease and an increase for delays between attacks if they wake up after eating it. I don't really see anyone using it unless at least 1 of those, or some other idea for making it useful, gets implemented.

That one time when I was testing the beta on god mode and spawned one in to lure a shark into an electric fence pen to see if having a pet shark was possible.

I'd like that if a Stuffed Night Cap is placed on the ground the Great Depth Worm would go eat it most priority without triggering its destructive(No segments spawn, and the Great Depth Worm's mouth spawns directly under the Stuffed Night Cap) and then immediately retreat underground. Even better would has a goofy yawning animation to make the in-game effect clear.

To keep underground megabases from getting wiped out, it’d be definitely better to offer other options than to force every layout to guarantee you can always flee the base on foot within 30 seconds.

Это могло бы сработать в качестве приманки для некоторых существ, например червей или гончих, если бы предмет был немного изменён, но в нынешнем виде это своего рода... ну, не очень хорошо.

A good optional feature if there is no panflute or blowdarts.

I would consider it to be a "good" option, if it were not for the fact that it can only be eaten by meat consuming creatures like pigs, bearger, hounds... and that is about it.

sleep darts are some what slept on (pun intended) and can find a fair bit of cases where they are very useful, but it feels more like a mistake dish like monster lasagna rather then a meaningful addition to the game. There is a reason for just about everything occurring in the game, and a lot of items have unusual use cases, but they have really good applications like weather pains or our new electric weapons.

I genuinely can't see this being useful unless some changes were made to it.

The Klei makes some decisions later and makes some objects look very bad.
This dish and the monster lasagna aren't as bad as...
like Fire Darts and Fire Staff. And they became so terrible because the Klei weakened them 4 times, and the torch also took over their ability to ignite, which made them... Bad...
although I still haven't seen anything worse than poison darts.

I can even find a precedent to draw on.

Nice idea but can we not post misinformations about great depth worm? It has already been fixed in that department and now, what you describe, other bosses like deerclops, bearger or  antlion do more potential griefing to your base than gdw. You don't need to have giants zones for fleeing from him in 30 seconds.

Take this and give it to Bearger to use gunpowder.
