WhackE Posted July 31, 2025 Share Posted July 31, 2025 (edited) A lot of people aren't excited about removing the threat glass hail provided, including myself, and I saw a suggestion in a server I'm in that I thought was really clever and tied two mechanics together. Having it so that the intensity of glass falling, duration, and frequency of Lunar Hail is influenced by the Moon cycle, peaking at danger on full moon nights, this way you can have it fluctuate between being safer and more dangerous with an easy way to measure it by having it tied to an existing mechanic. Pet Rock Posted July 31, 2025 Share Posted July 31, 2025 (edited) It feels a bit odd to me to tie lunar hail to both an active rift and moon phases. But I'm sure this could be implemented properly. But my question is: If lunar hail is tied to the moon phases, then why not everything else? While tying lunar rift spawning itself to the moon phases would be a stark change, it would make sense logically and allow lunar hail to both scale in intensity with moon phases and match the rift cycle.
